Coming Home

Poor Gilad Shalit.  Not only has he had to spend 5 years as a prisoner,  but he and his family will be under even more scrutiny due to this deal. I hope he somehow manages to put the past behind him and have the good life he deserves.   Here's Jonathan Tobin regarding the Palestinian celebrations that are planned: "Rather than ask why Israel is willing to trade so many terrorists for one soldier, the world should be asking why the Palestinians are cheering the release of sociopaths."  I would like to see the joy of his release, but I can just imagine, and I dread,  the coverage of the celebrations by the enemy.
