Last night, I got to hear some of Sean Hannity's radio show. A General Caldwell from the Multi-National Force in Iraq was on, and he and Sean's guest host discussed the lack of positive reporting in the mainstream media -- something we've been complaining about for years.
The general gave out the Multi-National Force website, http://www.mnf-iraq.com/, and I've been telling everyone to take a look. There's plenty of news and photographs, press briefings, and slide shows, and there's a place where you can send a message to the troops. I also signed up for their e-mail newsletter.
Here's a great item from the MNF website about the king rat, Saddam:
Medics clear rats from Saddam’s bunker
BAGHDAD — It was a scene straight from “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” or maybe “Willard.” American soldiers walking through a dimly lit, underground command bunker once used by a brutal dictator, now filled with hundreds of rats. Throw in a snake or two, and you have the perfect setting for a horror movie.
