In another fawning article, the New York Times lauded the president's golf game, with a headline -- Obama Is the Nation’s Private Golfer in Chief -- they weren't using in a sarcastic manner. The article ended in this nauseating way: "One
of the golfers who played with Mr. Obama said the way the president
carried himself on the course provided significant insight into his
character. 'If
you came down from Mars and saw his disposition on the golf course, you
would think he would be a pretty good president,' the golfer said. 'He’s honest, he keeps his composure through terrible adversity, he’s
unruffled, he smiles, and he doesn’t quit.'"
Well, maybe he should remain on the golf course permanently, because when he's in the White House, he's a pretty lousy president, as evidenced from a all-too-familiar headline: Obama Threatens to Veto Keystone Pipeline Approval;White House Also Would Block Change GOP Wants in Health-Care Law.
