Even BEFORE Mel Gibson's unforgivable antisemitic rant, it would have been an outrage for such a man to create a TV series on the Holocaust. (This is like having that Iranian lunatic create a miniseries about Israel!)
Does anyone remember his father's statement that the Holocaust was exaggerated? Mel Gibson made excuses for his father and did not refute that statement. So, all I can say is, like father, like son.
And good for ABC.

Walt Disney Co.'s ABC Television Network pulled the plug on a miniseries about the Holocaust that it was developing with Mel Gibson's production company, after the actor allegedly made anti-Semitic remarks when he was arrested last week on suspicion of drunken driving.
