Victor Davis Hanson has a great article in the National Review called "The Brink of Madness", where he describes today's frighteningly topsy-turvy politically correct thinking, and compares our current situation to the Nazi era in 1938. He writes, "Our present generation too is on the brink of moral insanity. That has never been more evident than in the last three weeks, as the West has proven utterly unable to distinguish between an attacked democracy that seeks to strike back at terrorist combatants, and terrorist aggressors who seek to kill civilians."

It's incomprehensible to me that the rest of the world still can't or won't recognize the difference between Islamo-Nazism and democracy. Even after September 11! Even now! Will it take a nuclear strike against Israel or against the United States to wake people up at long last?
