Democrats: The Only People Besides Criminals Angry at Crime-Fighting Efforts

If anyone  had told me years ago that people would actually protest the fight against violent crime in our nation's capital, I would have thought they were crazy. Apparently, today such people are crazy. 

Bring back the "Scared Straight" program, where they'd put teen criminals in a cell with hardened criminals to have them learn there are consequences to their actions and to make them change their lives for the better.  Of course, today the hardened criminals would be the ones scared of the teens.

The president made the announcement yesterday that he would be implementing a 30-day takeover of Washington, D.C.’s police department, and supplementing their efforts with 800 National Guard troops.
