Will NOT Work for Money

Today while driving around a large shopping center, I saw a young man standing on the median holding up a sign that said something to the effect of, "Need money". All around him, the stores had help wanted signs, including a brand new restaurant being built that has a sign urging prospective employees to call for an application. I can understand if you are elderly or crippled, and you can't work. But when you are young and healthy and can stand on a corner for hours expecting people to hand you their money, it's another matter. Recently I and other shoppers were accosted by young people as we exited a store. "Can you give me some money?" one of them asked. I replied, "Why don't you apply for a job?", and he actually said that he didn't want to follow rules of "some corporation". The fact is, young people today are being raised not with a work ethic, but with an entitlement mentality that tells them that people will give them something for nothing. This mentality will only expand as illegals flood into our country and expect to be supported by those of us who choose to work. I just get very exasperated.
