Barry Bonds has tied Babe Ruth's home run record, and there is no joy in Mudville. The best sign so far was one that said "The Babe Did it on Hot Dogs and Beer" -- and NOT steroids! Bonds' record-breaking entry requires an asterisk, because he's simply not even in the same stratosphere as the Babe and Hank Aaron. Either that, or remove the asterisk from poor Roger Maris' record.
