What Happened to America?

Once again, I have to link to Victor Davis Hanson, because this column reflects the way I feel about a culture gone totally downhill, in which political correctness and feeeelings have trumped common decency.  In "Snapshot of a Sick Society", he writes, 

"In the transition from a shame culture to a guilt culture, America has become a confused society that values the sensitivities of the felonious living far more than respect for the law-abiding dead."

Every day, you hear one revolting story after another, and it doesn't seem to end.
