London Terror Plot

I wonder how long the news of these thwarted terror bombings in London will remain in the British consciousness. Will the people show anger and spine, or will this story be downplayed and disappear like the news of our Fort Dix and JFK terror plots were? (I'll never forget that back in 1994, John Kerry claimed that the threat of terrorism has been exaggerated)
