Here's the difference in the way the media reports the news.
In today's Asheville Citizen-Times newspaper, the headline is "Heat on at Community Colleges", about audit discrepancies. The news about the arrest of the 7 terrorists is a smaller item below the fold.
In the Charlotte Observer, the main headline stretches across the width of the newspaper and fairly shouts, "Terrorist suspects 'homegrown'", along with their photographs.
That's yet another reason why I don't read the Citizen-Times.
